36 hours and almost in Varanasi

19:24 Wow I thought I was going to be updating my blog every day but as a new true friend kept reminding me,if u want to make God laugh just tell him your plans. We , Possum and I have been having such a great time getting time out to write about it has turned out to be quiet a hack. But on a 40 hour train ride what to do but maybe do a short check in. Right now we are 24 hours into our journey from Hampi an ancient sacred city filled with amazing ruins. To Varanasi the most holy place in this great mother India. Our journey so far has already been filled by the most special people, fragrant landscapes and bizarre experiences. To many to mention and we have only been here 3 weeks. Our bodys are strong adapting well to the spicy foods and super sweet chai's . The Indians we have met so far have been so sweet and protective that my guard is slowly melting into this sacred place.

Setteling into India so sweetly

Its Hot, its beautifull, its India

Its taken us ( Possum and I ) four days to get to our first destination and already there have been so many experiences. We are @ this very
moment in the umbrella cafe ( free wifi ) in Arembol Goa. This is like hippie ( Highly intelligent person pursuing inner enlightenment ) mecca.
There are about as many eclectic rainbow folk as there are Indians. We fit right in perfectly, our accommodation ( Arembol Beach resort )
is secure and cool and about 50 meters from the beach. With a fan and electricity and bathroom on suite its better than my digs back home.
Our Journey began on the 3rd February , we flew from Oliver Tambo to Dubai then to Mumbai. It was a tiring journey as i struggle to sleep on
the planes and as for trying to sleep in the transit lounge in Dubai well dream on. We arrived in Mumbai breezed through luggage collection and immigration , money changing and then paid for our taxi to our booked hotel. This is when the first wave of Indian recollection landed right
on my head and i was submerged into the loving gentle madness that this place is. Needless to say our taxi driver had no idea where our hotel
was and about 2 hours later and one sticky moment of nearly being dropped off in the middle of no where we finally found our hotel, oh yes did i mention it was about 34 degrees. Since then we have only been met by the gentleist of souls assisting us along our way and teaching us to
just surrender which is a priceless lesson. The bus ride to Arembol is overnight on a sleeper bus, i would not recommend this to anyone as
it is like on of those rides @ sun city where you are in a cool dark room . And the whole room is constantly moving but you cant see where you
are going add 10 hours to the trip and by the end your nerves are but tiny little sprouts needing time to recuperate.
We have been walking around the last 2 days just landing getting a feel for the place, tomorrow we renting a bike and heading
for a juggling convention . It will be our first time where we are @ the wheel on these crazy roads wish us luck.

I love Airports

Ready to fly

Ive always loved Airports, this collective field of all in Transit, makes me think being alive is kind of being in an airport.
We have come from somewhere and we are on our way somewhere else. I am ready to leave the previous destination
behind and embrace what ever is ahead of me. Its amazing to have someone to share this experience with, my Possum
is just beaming with excitement and as we are here in this limbo place for just a few moments in time.
Since we have started on our journey all has slipped effortlessly into place.
Sitting here in the VIP lounge is a laugh, and as for our 2 escorts that just lead us through all the counters
and customs and delivered us with sentimental smiles to the smoking lounge. Wow just amazing.
So to all our friends, family and fans, you are the lightest part of our luggage and we will keep u right in the heart
of our journey. Till we see u again.

Visas collection today

I really question this visa ,border and separation dilemma. That we all deal with each and every day.I was born into the human condition with +/- 7 billion others, yes our circumstances are all unique but there are things that we share. We have been born,we all will die,it is our birthright that we should be able to find a space that is our own. We should be allowed to wonder and explore freely .Ok yes I am fully aware of my idealism ( its 1 of the benefits of being a Gooda ).And I don't really have much of a point , but I Love to wonder I'm not so good at staying in one spot and watching the grass grow. And now the thing is along with all my personal baggage I must carry a passport , a visa , a letter that tells somebody who I am and where I live blah. And it all seems absurd. Yes I guess it all makes perfect sense if I believed in the we are all separate idea, and that there is a beginning and end, oh yes and that there is not enough . But I don't buy into any of this. I am a child of the universe ,I've been here before and I will be here again. I am as old as the universe a part of all woman and a part of all man.
