Gerrikas Point

Our own little Indo wave

Sometimes I just got to pinch myself to see if this is a dream or really really real. Im standing in the car park , my eyes are drifting
along the shore line to find their rest on the sphinx's head also know as Gerrika's point. Its one of only a few spots along the Garden route where you can be sitting in the line up with not a single house in sight. The waters almost always crystal clear and if you get it good its going to
be epic. Surfing where is always a journey , there is no quick fix every surfer must stand at the car park and try judge what the waves are going
to be like then you make the decision grab your stuff and begin the 1.5km walk towards the point. You wont know what its really like till you standing right in front of it looking at it. The last time Josh and I went it turned out to be my best surf of my short holiday home so far.
Josh, Jeon and I . Perfect conditions , sunny day , clear water, 2-3 foot swell and baggies you cant ask for better. Hope you like the photos.
